Partners write their own college essay during an intensive three-week training program, then commit to ongoing professional development and engagement. Wow Partners understand the essay coaching process inside and out; they are confident in their skills and are prepared to guide students of all skills and abilities.

Master Classes: Every year, before the application season begins in earnest, we refresh our practice with master classes on brainstorming and essay reviews. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned Partner, this is a valuable exercise to kick off the season.
Support When You Need It: Feeling stuck? Post a question or share a student essay in the Partners forum; send an email to Susan or Kim; or reach out to another Partner. We’re here to support one another. Be prepared to share everything that lead up to the problem or issue: writing exercises, emails, notes, etc. Our goal is to help resolve the current issue, while also showing you how to avoid it in the future.
YEAR 1 BONUS – One-on-one Mentorship: An experienced Partner-Mentor will guide you through the ten steps with your first student. We call this shadowing. Learn more about this mentorship here.
