Whitelisting Emails from Wow Writing Workshop
Whitelisting an email prevents trusted messages from being flagged as spam. The exact steps vary slightly depending on your email provider, but generally involve creating a filter or adding the sender to a safe list.
Here is how to whitelist emails across the most popular platforms:
Gmail
- Open Gmail and click the Gear icon in the top right, then select See all settings.
- Go to the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab and click Create a new filter.
- In the From field, enter [email protected] or wowwritingworkshop.com
- Click Create filter.
- Check the box for Never send it to Spam, then click Create filter.
Outlook
- Click the Gear icon in the top right, and choose View all Outlook settings.
- Navigate to Mail > Junk email.
- Under the Safe senders and domains section, click Add.
- Type enter [email protected] or wowwritingworkshop.com, press Enter, and click Save.
Yahoo Mail
- Click the Gear icon in the top right and select More settings.
- Navigate to Filters and click Add new filter.
- Enter [email protected] or wowwritingworkshop.com
- Under “Choose a folder to move to,” select Inbox, then save your changes.
Apple Mail (Desktop)
- Open the Mail app, click Mail in the top menu, and choose Settings (or Preferences).
- Go to the Rules tab and click Add Rule.
- Set conditions to: From > Contains > [email protected]
- Set the actions to: Move Message > Inbox.
- Click OK.
