THE COLLEGE ESSAY EXPERIENCE | Write an Essay with a Wow Coach

Here’s a link to the webinar recording, “A Taste of the College Essay Experience.”
If you attended live, thank you!
Susan shared tips for managing the essay writing process, brainstorming quickly, and reviewing essays with ease. AND there was a little writing! She talked about the Wow approach and why it works. Of course we had give aways and some valuable resources that you can use with your students.
If you weren’t able to make it live, make time to watch the replay.
The overwhelming response from past years reinforces our belief that signing up for CEE is the single best way to improve your college essay coaching process.
For Abbie Rabin of Personalized College Consulting in Englewood, New Jersey, who has spent three decades inside the college admissions world as an IEC and high school counselor, writing her own essay was “transformative – practical, yet eye-opening.”
“The College Essay Experience is brilliant,” Abbie said. “You don’t really know the college essay until you’ve written one.”
Over the years, we’ve consistently shared free (and valuable) resources. We offer outstanding professional development opportunities, too! Our free monthly Pro Chats are great, and while I love planning and sharing them, they can only take you so far.
This program has proven to be a real game-changer.
“CEE let me become the student and walk in their shoes,” said Chris Holzwarth, a HECA leader who runs Beyond the Applause College & Career Discovery in Atlanta. “I understood the pressure and stress my students are under and became more empathetic toward students and parents.”
The program changed Chris’s mindset.
“CEE gave me a framework, resources, and the steps for success,” Chris said, adding that she respects that “the Wow process adheres to the highest ethics and standards. With this process, no one writes the essays for students.”
After writing his own essay, Peter Campbell, the Director of College Advising at the La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana, saw firsthand how important it is to be more hands-off in his coaching approach.
“As a result of CEE, I’m getting better at reading without a pen in my hand,” Peter said. “It helped me think about what I want to say in new ways and definitely has made me more patient.”
This year’s participants will write a Common App essay over the course of 4 weeks, guided by a Wow coach, using our tried-and-true online system, just like Abbie, Chris, and Peter did.
You will experience the essay-writing process from the inside out and gain new insight into how you can improve your existing process. That might involve adopting some of our writing exercises (included), using some of our email templates (included), or mastering the full Wow Method, our ten-step process (additional training required).
Imagine taking what you’ve already learned from us and multiplying it by ten.
Are you ready to be one of the lucky ones who gets the full College Essay Experience before your next group of students starts their applications? I know …
We’ve barely started the new year, and I’m already making you think about the next crop of applicants! But now’s the best time to reserve a spot so you’re ready for the next batch of students.
CEE will teach you an approach that will help you identify holes in your process so you can streamline it and make it more effective. It will give you insight to help take the stress out of your application season. It will teach you why you don’t need to engage in endless essay editing.
CEE will show you how a proven and consistent process will work, no matter what distractions come your way (like AI essay platforms and countless new supplemental essay prompts).
And … when you’re done with CEE, you’ll also be more prepared to deal with parents who second-guess your decisions and students who insist they have nothing to write about.
The College Essay Experience is a no-brainer if you want to sleep better at night and feel calmer next season!
